Antoinette Bader has taken the common beanbag, a big pliable unstructured cushion, and added geometry to develop a stylish and sophisticated bean chair.
An outer cover composed of triangular padded sections allows for a range of seating positions. Says Bader, “The type of the solution is generated by the cooperation of difficult and soft parts.”
“The upper part of the cover is structured by firm padded triangles, which are flexibly interconnected. The triangular arrangement defines it’s certain aesthetic shapes and adopts various sitting positions.” (through)
