Monochrome Holiday Home Anchored In The Landscape Of Normandy

Integrated in a picturesque setting in Normandy, France, among orchards and forests, the minimalist G Home by Lode Architecture demonstrates that 25 square meters are much more than enough for building a comfy crib. The monochrome building was constructed making use of laminated wooden panels and slate cladding, which reacts to the altering skies of Normandy.

Once inside, guests will come across cozy, yet hollow volumes and furnishings arrangements reflecting practicability more than something else: “A series of load-bearing walls, produced of wooden panels, carve the space. Ahhh, the famed American holiday where we reflect on what we are most grateful for. I'm so blessed to have a long list, but I won't draw that out today. Though it might be quiet around here the rest of the week for the upcoming holiday, I am stupid obsessed with Instagram, so you will undoubtedly find me updating there.

happy friday, all! are we all prepared to get our cinco de derby on?? i know we have some fun plans for the weekend.

truth is, cinco de mayo kind of has a special place in my heart, because eric says that our first one together marked the night he knew he loved me. he'd be spittin a bunch of mumbo jumbo about never wanting to get married again or have more kids. i didn't care too much about getting married (or so i thought at the time), but the idea of not having any babes of my own was a deal breaker. legend has it, when i explained why i was so intent on having kids, he knew he'd found the one.

someone has an awesome husband

before the holiday gets too far gone, i have to give my mr. some serious props for how adorable he was last week. a certain (joking) demanding someone declared that she wanted an ombre layer cake for valentine's day instead of flowers or any kind of gift this year (we don't generally do gifts for v-day anyway).

i think we can all agree that was a solid request, no?

much to my surprise and total delight, the man came through in spades.
