Big and Small Residence is a project designed by Anonymous Architects in Los Angeles, on a hillside. The residence, searching like a robust box, in spite of its modest look, is really spacious. The architects chose not to divide the space in rooms but to generate a comfortable feeling of breeziness, embracing the lack of boundaries. We’ve got 1 major floor that accommodates the kitchen, the dining region and the living room, with no generating you feel swallowed by the cluttered space.
The upper floor is committed to the master bedroom. The surprise element is “the hole in the ceiling”, perceived as a windows that connects you to the celestial atmosphere. You can get pleasure from spectacular views, just like when you lay on the grass and watch the shimmering stars. The residence is not settled on a plain lot of ground, which gives distinct levels of heights all through the home. “The free of charge program of the internet site mirrors the free of charge strategy of the property since the house does not in fact touch the ground – givng full access to appreciate the garden and the views outdoors the home”, except the garage and the entrance itself.
