A picturesque home from the 1600s in Stockholm’s scenic Old Town was the “context” for establishing a modern apartment spiced up with classic specifics. Discovered on Skeppsholmen, this fascinating Scandinavian duplex has a total surface of 112 square meters and 3 rooms. On the bottom level there is a big hallway, which leads towards the major bedroom as nicely as to a large storage space for clothing and footwear.
There is a single bathroom in the apartment, also situated beneath. Classic stairs lead the way to the spectacular upper level, exactly where exposed beams generate a cozy atmosphere. It is here that you will locate the open plan living and dining space- a bright and clean interior, flooded in all-natural light from the windows/ skylights. As in most Scandinavian properties, the walls are painted in white, producing a robust contrast with the wooden beams and red sofa. The outcome is genuinely mesmerizing.
