Whether or not you happen to be dressing your tabletop to the nines to host a dinner celebration of your own, or heading out to be served at a friend’;s, the “Pear” decorative salt and pepper shakers make a excellent gift any time of year. Designed by artist Michael Aram (who mastered standard metalworking in India), these gilded fruit bring a bit of understated sparkle to any table, so to speak, not overshadowing or distracting from your fares but adding to the general atmosphere. We love how candlelight dances in the reflective finish. These gold-plated, ceramic shakers are finished with oxidized stems and a leaf. Retail cost is $99.
